Camelbak?
#1
I'm looking for a way to carry water and a camera, I don't really like the idea of carrying a camelbak since I don't use a chest protector and I think it will rub and bounce around. I'm talking about some pretty active riding. Does anyone have experience with these things. What do you guys use to carry ?

you don't wanna put the camera on the bike, it'll get bounced and banged too much, no matter how well you pack it or pad it. I always make sure the camera or video cam is on me, either in a fanny pack or backpack.

Dito on what Hightower said.... Ive tried plenty of combos and the Camalback / backpacks are the best without doubt. Fanny packs just dont work as well. Put a 2 liter bottle & a camera in there and see how comfortable that is in an hour.

i put water bottles in a Bomb rear grab bar bag.
but if I was to carry water on me I think the hydro-pak with a built in gear pocket for the camera and beef jerky would be up my ally.
or maybe one of those wine botas filled with water in a backpack if I need a pack for lots of gear like tools, tire reapir stuff, and rain gear on a long mountain trail.

I am reluctant to put bulky items in there because I wouldnt want it against my spine in a crash,,,but thats just me
they are perfect for aggresive riding
Gary is also correct.
