Default Heel gaurd clearance

Ok with stock tires on an 04 ds I have got a minimum of 4" clearance between the tire and the gaurd on my pro pegs.

So do any of you with 22" paddels and an 04 short swing arm fancy holding your stock tires against your paddels and coming up with some numbers

Or even the outside diameter of the tire including paddels from tip to tip would do and i can work it out from there.
let me know the numbers and the tire type and i will be able to buy somthing that will fit.

Your help will be greatly apreciated

If your swing arm is shorter than the earlier models or at least mine (2001) Im sure they will hit. I have 22" SandStars and they rubbed big time! even if I bent the heelguard as far away as possible, they still hit. Had to do a little trimming

I have ac pro pegs so i cant trim the heel gaurds do you know the total outside diameter of your 22"s including the paddels

i think i should be able to clear the 22" as i have 4" clearance with the 20" ohtsu, But i would like some tire sizes from u guys as i have to have the tires shipped from to me and shipping costs as much as the tires, So mistakes are costly and i cant just take em back to the store.

thanks

Ok looks good i should be able to run them
i also took the width of my 20" sand stars they are narrow at 9 1/4" inches my stockers are around 10 1/2"

Do the 22" have a wider foot print i seem to recall some one saying they did but i cant reacall what it was

9 3/4 .......could depend on the rim width as well.

thanks

Mine are mounted on douglas .160 the rim is about the same width as the tire measured the rim is slightly wider than the tire.
i would like to find a paddel that was really wide so i would have some ballooning over the edges of the rim.

I am currently checking manufacturers web sites but they are almost all stated to be 11" width , but in reality there ae probably a lot of variation.
