Default Insurance Coverage and Costs

I'm curious what others have for insurance coverage, and what they are paying for insurance for their quads. I have a 2003 Outlander 330 4x4, and my wife a 2004 Outlander 330 4x4.

We are insured for $100,000 bodily injury each accident ($50,000 each person), $50,000 property damage, $100,000 medical payments, $100,000 Uninsured Motorists Bodily Injury each accident ($50,000 each person), Actual Cash Value for Comprehensive (less a $50 deductible) and Collision (less a $250 deductible).

The insurance premium for my 2003 is $182.40, and her 2004 is $216.80 every six months. This is in Maine.

These premiums seem high to me. I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500, my wife a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 van. The quad's insurance each is only $76 - $105 less every six months than our truck/van. For the number of miles we drive our vehicles compared to our quads, it seems abnormally high.

Dude, if that is the six month premium it seems to be around double the cost here. Start shopping around, I'm sure you should be able to find it cheaper. You may also consider increasing your deductible.
