if it comes in at 550 pounds and does put out 200 hp that would be 2.75 pounds to a hp the banshees if they get 125 hp and come in at 300 pounds looks to be 2.4 per hp. guess there would still be some to race. the 600 might be interesting as far as a machine that you could still dune ride.

Wow, that looks like a great mach to have. But its looks like the high bidder SNOT at $10,100.00 is going to get it.
Looks to me that he just bought a turbo off e-bay for it also. I was thinking about bidding myself but not now.
Guess I'll have to build one some day.

This is getting a bit off topic, but isn't the Ninja ZX-10R claiming 175hp (or maybe it's the 12R)? Dry weight on that is only 375 It's no wonder there are so many wrecked sport bikes! I gotta get one!

Back on the subject here - am I the only one that still thinks a 2-stroke sled motor is the way to go for a killer quad. People talk about 125hp Banshees, but a 500 powervalve sled motor is 100+ box stock and reliable. That should be enough to have a lot of fun without spending a bunch or worrying about blowing it up every ride.

take a zx12r and put cams and pistons exc,exc in it and holy crap way more torque than a 2 stroke. 2 stroke sled motors are also very neat!!! i just wanted to see more four strokes. they have tons of mods to be done to them!!

As several others have noted, getting huge power to the ground in a quad chassis is difficult at best. It seems a 2-stroke with less torque but still gobs of horsepower would be easier and more fun to ride.

Mario just remmeber that if you want to run with the top level banshees you will have to really lengthen the wheel base and put a turbo on that bike to keep up with the basnhees that run say 70+ at olds and dumont .....

Id say this bike will end up near 16k, which might be too much for me to pay. I heard the punisher is willing to go up tyo 14k. Hes hawking his trailer for it..LOL

You cannot get a duplicate of this bike for 12-13k.

I bet you could build that bike for under 8k ..... maybe less

This guy guy had a buddie with much the same bike at sand mt over memorial day and it pulled 79mph up sand mt and was only getting beat by the elite banshees!!! And there was a r1 that had the highest mph of the weekend in a banshee frame. so these bikes can be very effective if setup properly
