Default 2003 Traxtor Max; cv boot torn, and wheel is clicking in sharp turn

The front stock plastic brush supports are in good shape. The rubber boot that it protects from the front end gear box is great. The rubber boot that protects the cv joint at the front wheel is torn, and is clicking in sharp turns. It got that way going through the brush, riding off the trail. Question: Is there a protection devise just to protect this cv joint? It would have to attach to the wheel, and maybe slide back and forth in turns?
