Question regarding oil change procedures
#21
Sounds like you are flaming me now. Since there is an air vent on a keg, do you bleed it each time and re pump it up so you have pressure??
I am just saying, it is covered by warranty. Did you ask your dealer about bleeding it?? I did.

I don't deal with kegs I'm not a beer drinker, especially in that kind of quantities. Like I said, you don't have to take our advice.
I don't depend on warranties to protect my investments, because when you really need them, it's either too late, or they give you an excuse why it's not covered. In the instance of the oil pressure and such, most warranties will not cover metal to metal wear, so your idea of letting the warranty cover it isn't so sound. Plus, the warranty is only good for six months, unless you chose to get the extended warranty.
I don't want to be in ScoobyDFWs' shoes, waiting for months for parts to show up to get warranty work done.
The dealer knows less about the DS650 than most of the owners that visit this website and what they do know, they don't want to tell you, "just bring it in and we'll take a look at it". I saw a guy bring in his DS650 for front end squeaks and it sat outside in the elements for over a month.
Maybe you are lucky in having a wonderful dealer that keeps you updated on everything for the DS650, but I don't have that luxury. Your quad will probably be fine with the way you changed your oil, but isn't it worth an extra couple of minutes to be extra sure? I know for myself it is.
