Tempting, how far past Reno is Sand Mtn? HHHHHHMMMMMMMM.......I'll really have to mull this one over. I talked to my friends about riding this weekend but with all their kids and a short notice the logistics would be difficult, besides my one friends wife is like 8 months pregnant! Anyone have an extra spot on their trailer and that doesn't mind taking a passenger? LOL

If your computer isn't at the pawn shop for all the money Jeff has talked you into spending on your quad, Then you can plan on checking in.

See the What's Jeff Cost you thread.

When I purchased my X last year, I told my friend Chris that I wouldn't be modding a thing. Now I have a set of Razr II's (20x11x9), a HMF slip-on and have rejetted the carb. Next I'd like a CDI, ported intake and 60% stiffer then stock clutch springs. It never ends. It gets expensive, esp. when the wife is buying a new outfit or two because you can afford the extras for the machine so why not treat herself.

I've gotta say, the Maxxis Razr 2s are so mean looking they are kinda ugly. They look like a tire that you don't want to mess with!

Oz,

One bit of advice, get the springs before you do the other stuff; if you do the springs first and install them right, then you wont have to replace the clutch because it'll be ready for the extra power you are going to pump through it.

I agree. The 60% clutch springs were the first things that went in my DS.
