New bolt on Hy-Tech Pami cylinder
#13
The cylinders are redone ( This is the core ) and have a new HY-Tech aluminum sleeve installed. This is an all new process. It and the piston, both have a new special coating. They have tested 4 with great results. Believe me!! I questioned the sleeve. Pami said forget everything you know about sleeves, this is totally new.
I can have the head done, or I will tell you some one that can do it I trust.
This is a direct bolt in, just 1 head mod.

So does this mean that this is how pami will do the 760s from now on, with this type of cylinder, instead of having to get a brand new cylinder. Because this is the same size bore as the 760 cylinders. Also is this sleeve refered to as a "wet sleeve"?

I'm not sure what you are calling a wet sleeve but they bore out the stock cylinder and replace it with a 105.5 aluminum sleeve. I'm not sure how they do it but it's a very nice piece. The sleeve does not get into the water passages, so there is no water leaking problem. You can look closer at it on this web site. www.thebomracing.com
This is not going to replace the full race 725/760 jug. Just gives us a less expensive opposition with an easier to assemble 725 kit that's still a Pami.
There is 1 in the states right now and five more being made right now. 2 to 3 weeks out.

Ive seen wet sleeve designs before where they actually bore right though into the water jackets and then design a sleeve with water jackets designed on the outside. I'll try to post a pic later. kyle
