I'm running about the same. I've got a 170 dj which is supposed to be equal to around a 157.7 mikuni. Runs pretty good. Mine is a stage 2 with a little headwork.

i'm at 157.5. its the biggest i got with my carb. i will order a 160 and 162.5 and maybe a 165. i've gone up from the 150 in 2.5 increments to where i am now. each time i got a little faster times on my drags. but between the 155 and 157.5 there was a small difference. i live at sea level.

I'm at 750' too, I run 157.5 most of the summer, stage 2 with some porting, open airbox. but the barometer makes a difference too, if a low pressure front comes in it will richen you and can effect jetting a couple sizes sometimes, for those who are really serious about perfection anyway. And in the dead of winter when it gets good and cold she can handle even fatter jetting.

When THEBOM, 222, MRHP, and AZSAND did all that dyno testing in Kentucky last winter, the stock bike with airbox removed made peak hp on the TM45 with a seriously fat jet, seems like a 165, or was it a 170? Anyway I went out that week to retweek and found my best performance was with a 162.5, like I said I still have the airbox, just fully open with no lid and snorkels removed. they do breathe better with airbox removed entirely.

well I ran some timed runs in 300' and actuly ran my best time 5.58. now this is just my bro in law w/ a stop watch tring to get it as close as possiable for every run. I have maid 20 - 30 runs w/ diffrent set ups. Jetting, tires sprockets. I have the quad set for drags as you can see in my pics. I will get a 162.5 and 165 and try them as long as the weather doesnt go to $hit.
