Just wondering if anyone has seen them or has used them and how good they are compared to elkas,works etc.

 

sorry i dont ride a ds but i do have these shocks.

If you want the ride quality then I would recomend getting true Oil type race shocks. the fox's are slightly better than my stock yfz shocks but its hard to tell. I like them for the weight savings. if you want to spend $800 on shocks get some elkas or something in comparison. If you are looking at dropping weight off your bike but want a decent shock get the fox shocks

 

so you paid 800 bucks for those shocks and they arent better than elkas.... u can barely tell the diff between them and the stock shocks? well i dont think i would want them then

 

Talk to billDS650, he got one of the first sets, and if I remember, he didn't like them for anything but duning.

I've read alot of the mountain bike clan don't like them 'cause they wear out quickly, and their quality control seems to be alittle questionable...and for that kind of "chang"....I'd rather have something I know is going to take the abuse.
