I found a lectron 48 mm carb.... this is what it says:
Has 4-1 metering rod, # 20 power jet & optional idle bleed jet.
Now does any of this sound firmiliar?
Will this be compatable for a DS?

it will, but it will cost alot more to make it into a HV like eric n randall sells, you'd b better off just buying it from them correctly setup for your machine, instead of just riggin one on and doing your best to make it work,

 

T.C.O I bought an identical carb as this one, me and Randell (at mr horsepower) have been e-mailing back and forth to try and figure out if what I have is an HV. Everything points to HV but, we are still not for sure. Oh well if it wont work its going on a friends Harley.

 

Can you post pictures (or email) of the crab looking thru the intake side with the slide removed or opened all the way?
