Default Ds650 sprocket setup

Ive got a 2000 ds650 with Ron Woods Stage 1 kit, was wonder what front sprocket setup would be good for hill climbing and dragging, dont really want to mess with the back sprocket but any opinions would be great, thanks

I would think a 15t with 22" rear tire's that would be geared down a bit but better ground clearance.

15 tooth with 22 inch tires is not as fast on the take off as stock it has 5mph on top end over stock top speed..mine did anyways if it was a short hill or short drag i would go 14

I run stock 20 inch skat track paddles in the dunes, mostly concerned with hill climbing, will going with the 14t sprocket be the best bet for faster runs up the hills

Id go 15 or 16 with 20s. Take them and just try them both. 14 is too low for 20s. You will spinn all day and lose top end. Get a buddy to race you with the 15 then the 16 and that should help you decide. Let us know.
