tranny is kinda knotchy

it shifted fine then i changed my oil last week and now it kinda feels like the clutch might be dragging just a bit and when i put it into gear when it is idleing it jerks a little bit, and if i hold in the clutch while i am stopped and raise the shift lever slightly heading towards second i can hear the gears grinding a little, and when i am racing i will loet off of the gas slightly and try to shift up but it doesnt wanna seem to come outof gear easily, maybe i need to have the gears undercut? how much does that cost? thanks again fellas
any ideas what i should do?
p.s. i have castrol gtx 10w40 in the bottom end

Forks are about $40 or $50 each.
Undercutting. . . can't remember but, I think about $150??? I could be totally off.
When my fork got bent it wouldn't go all the way into gear and under load would pop out of gear. For me only occured between 1st and 2nd gears. I haven't heard of it occuring on the newer (late 2003) models and newer. They have a harder shift fork.
Undercutting will actually make shifting a bit more notchy under certain conditions.
It may be worth trying a multi weight oil like a 20W-50. The 50 is a little bit thicker and may get more oil between the clutch plates. Dunno.
Check your clutch adjustment. I hate to see you tear your engine apart if it is just your clutch.
Oh, bummer about the shift forks is the labor involved. If you do your own work fine but, if you need to pay someone to do the work there will be a few hours involved.
Has the tranny popped out of or not shifted into second gear? Does it do it often?
Was the oil drained out of the cases for long? (A few days?) How long was the clutch dry from oil?

You answered your own question there its the oil. i have had the same thing on a few bikes mostly two strokes but the clutch works just the same, change to a synthetic oil (specific to bikes with wet clutches) and genraly speaking the weight isnt the problem its the viscosity that makes the clutch drag , you will notice it worse with a cold motor right ? think of the oil as syrup the thicker it is (viscose) the more it makes the plates pull on each other. as the gap beetween them is not much.
I use silkolene fully synthetic bike oil and no problems.
by the way i stress the use of bike oil as car oil has friction reducing agents that can make a wet clutch slip.
