Tires question please

Default Tires question please

I got DS-650 and the winter is about to arrive here in israel...
My *rear* tires are DeAd so i gonna replace them with the Preds rear tires(22).
the question is !

would the preds rear tires (maxis razor) would do a good job in the winter ???

YES!! i tried going with realtors and went back to the razors in the snow (drop the air pressure to 2-3lbs) and they worked better i think.

Ok so the razors did a good job in the snow [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] thats good!
what about mud and the rest of winter riding style??
my previous tires (kenda viper x22) did a great job!!

In snow i have yet to see a pair or race tires do as well as my bearclaws do when they are new the bearclaws plow there way through everything

The Razr' should do a good job. I would assume your winters are dryer in Israel than here in Indiana. I run Razr II's and they work very good in the winter mud.

I had the Realtors and they did good, but they dig the snow more than push you out i felt, I have yet to try my Mud Sharks but i think they will do very well. Razr II's and Holeshot XCT's did ok, but i like a more meaty tire for the snow, i'll haveta try a racing tire wit less air pressure like Jeffroe said and compare.

You should consider the MudMachines, one of the Magz tested a crap load of Mud & All Terrain tires and said the MudMachine a/t's were by far the best. I've had a bunch of different tires, and i have yet to find a tire that gets the traction these monsters do.

the winter isnt heavy around here...
but the tires i looking needs too fit much more to the summer...
so i thought about the razrs cuz a friend of mine told me they doing a GREAT job on his pred so i kindda hoped it will do the same job on the bomb! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
