Default Haulers or Padla Brat Comp Cut?

Does anybody have the Padla Brats in a 9 Paddle comp cut? How will it compare to a hauler? I was told they are lighter and fast for drags/hill climb.

They are both a good tire. I would say the paddle brats for hill shooting. But you can't go wrong with either.

Paddla brats hands down winners. About a bike length worth on a steep short sand drag. + their 6lbs lighter total.

They are both great tires, but they are not 6 lbs. lighter than ultralight haulers. I have 22x11x8 12 paddle ultralight haulers on .125 rims. I think these are just a hair under 10 lbs each. 7 lb tires would be fantastic, but not gonna happen.

Like I said, both great tires, cant go wrong.

I have both, the only problem with the Padla Brats was that they punctured easily.

I guess it all depends on how well they are grooved and how much rubber is removed.

Sorry, the Comp cut Padla brats are 6lbs lighter than the 22" Extremes I was running before, both 9 paddle. I believe they would be very close to tripple buff haulers but probably a little more puncture resistant. From the posts I've seen on the subject, I'd say the consensus of opinion would be to stay away from .125 wall thickness rims unless you are very seriously drag racing.
