mike,
IM sure some on will step up to the plate and offer you one.
the spring issue wasnt a issue for me (with a little help) . as some on here know I bought Big Dadys Tm45, and settled the stiff throttle prob. with help from HT and some others. out of all the parts you gave me the most important was the soft return spring, make sure you have that when you get your 45. take that spring and twist it to make it tighter. give it a good twist its, a little akwerd to hold but do-able. take the stiff one out and re-install the soft one and take for a spin. make sure there is enough tension to shut down the acc. pump. if not it will idle high. in that case take it back apart and put a little more twist on it. I got lucky it only took me 2 times and its been awsome since. its not as soft as stock. but its a third of what it was. Im using the 45 cable you gave me to. you can us stock w/ a little mod.

best of luck,
Sam

TM problem is solved. Shmee came to the table and helped a brother out.

Thanks Shmee. Can't wait to get the thing dialed in for Halloween. Hopefully Halloweens Vids will yeild a different result.

I'm still Shrek on the DS90, but the proper setup should put me in front of Eagle when I'm spraying. Mario should be able to wax most of the mid-propped bikes without a problem.

Again, Thanks Shmee.

Dinner at Outback is waiting when ever you're in VEGAS.

I DON'T want to know ANYTHING about that 48!!!!! it'll cost me money!!!!

No, just joshin' ya. Let us know how the 48 compares to the 45. I'm thinking that most of the STAGE 3's and big bores need to be in the 48. I know that Mario's motor uses every bit of that 48 Lectron.

big daddy,
i took the cover off the thumb throttle and removed the return spring.the springs on the 45 carb are plenty strong enough to close.it's a lot easier now!

yes I agree the needle jet which the main jet screws into has an i.d. that seems to be limited about a 190 main. not sure if any other nedle jets are available for that carb, but it can be drilled, although size to drill to is a guess and needle jet i.d. effects much more than full throttle - it'll effect everything from just off idle on. too big a needle jet i.d. with no available needle to fill it would cause lots of issues. I'm pretty sure this is one reason the tm45 was first called into play.

bigdaddy ditto what sam said, and any help I can be I sure will be, to the point of tuning the springs for you if you got the time and wanna send me the carb, this offer I extend to anybody, especially people who have helped me in the past.

Thanks HT, I knew I could count on you. I should be getting the Carb in the next day or so, and the process will start. I've already ordered some stuff from RWR, for "just in case" measures. I know how to tune a TM - VERY SIMPLE. The thumb thing.... I'll be talkin' to ya Chris.
