New member looking for info on 03 ds650 baja..
Hello people, I've been in the market for a sport quad. I've ridden a number of machines vforce 700, 660 raptor, ds650, 450yfz and the kfx 400. I like them all but the ds650 fits me like a glove the minute I jumped on it. I'm working out a deal on non current 03 baja and would like to know what you guys think of the 03 baja model. Thanks.....

I have owned my 03 Baja for about 7 months now and I love it. I ride on tight woods trails and in hairscramble races and they can get a little tight for such a big machine but when you hit the wide open areas and the motocross it will take over.

3eyedcat: welcome to the form. I have a '02 and just love it, I put a different end cap on the muffler and ported the intate manifold. this alone is enough for starter.

Welcome,
My DS is a 2000 model and its been awsome, bolts are in tight ( fair warrning) but manageable. Mod end cap is just as good or in some cases better than any slip on. 15t front sprocket and a cdi box, this will get you rocken. untill you get the need.
