What does it sound like when your chain roller is bad? Im getting some weird griding sounds under load at low speeds and it sounds like its coming from the chain but not sure.

I don't know what it sounds like when the roller goes bad, but if you are hearing sounds from the back make sure to check your carrier bearings. They will make some grinding noises until they lock up.

Its a brand new quad it shouldn't be the bearings, but it sounded like something kinda slapping something else, not very loud though

That just sounds like normal chain slap. That is normal at slow speeds, just make sure the chain is adjusted properly.

All you need to do is inspect your chain roller. If it looks good, and your chain is properly adjusted, its ok. The newer model DS's have a hard plastic chain roller, that still makes noise (a very common problem; especially when you have paddles on a hard surface). There are durable chain rollers out there that are softer than the stock ones, but yet still hold up. They are much quieter than the stock one.
