I'm considering getting a mod quad end cap next. I go mudding 90% of the time i ride and was wondering since the opening of the tip is so big how mud would affect my stock exhaust. how would i clean it out? would it hurt to just remove the end cap and somehow spray mud out? also, how much of a difference is it from getting a completely new exhaust. i was looking at the alba racing exhuast system but wasnt sure if just buying a end cap would be much difference.

 

I here good things about the end cap mod, great power for such a simple, and the price is right. I really dont think I would go sprayin' down your exaust unless your DS is some kind of hydrogen hybrid.

Go really fast so that when the mud finally falls back to earth it's no where near our exhaust [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img].
Seriously though I have a modded end cap and do go mudding from time to time and have never had a problem with mud getting in my pipe.

 

That must be some pretty deep mud[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I wouldn't worry about mud too much. The force of the exhaust should blow it out when you are riding.

 

ok, ive noticed mud stuck in the exhaust tips before so thats why i was wondering. also how does this end cap compare to a full exhaust system, such as white bros., alba, etc. for trail riding/low end power.
