ds wheelie

Default ds wheelie

will a 2003 ds 650 wheelie with just the throttle?

ya i can get the front up in first if i goose the throttle and pull up. i havent tried it in first. i doubt it will get up with the stock 20 inch rear tires. my buddies ds has 22 inch rear tires and the front end comes up with ease.

Yes a ds will wheelie with (just throttle) but you will find that the balance point for a wheelie on the ds is quite a bit more vertical than most quads.

No kidding, I hit a jump, landed and bounced a bit while I kind of juiced it, front came up next thing I know I'm on two wheels for about five feet....startled the heck out of me. I was trying to hit a double jump and was going a bit fast on the second one. I think these one guys saw it cause they were like "hey dude, way to go......." and I was hardly thinking about it, certainely wasn't intentional on my part and I wasn't gonna attempt to duplicate it either LOL. I just laid off the throttle and it dropped easily.
