Default Triple Buffs....

Annihilator, just out of curiousity, do you know what kind of times your DS will run in 300ft of flat sand? That thing looks quick. I know I will be trying to compare apples to oranges whenever I try to compare a hillshooter to a flat drag racer, but Im just curious.

I dont know I would sure like to find out. With a wheely bar enableing me to spray out of the hole I think it could be impressive. Alot of the time if the wheels grab too much I have to let off out of the hole and it fouls up my momentum. I think presidents day they will have 300fters in sand at dumont and I will run them and try to get vids. I hope to have a wheely bar. What kind of wheely bar do you recomend for sand?

Im really not sure. The guys around here run one with the big fat wheel on them for flotation. But as far as myself I couldnt tell ya. I know the guys that run them here, normally run either no suspension in the rear or Marvin Shaws. I will just be glad to get my swingarm....By the way, what length do you recommend considering I weigh 160lbs. I have basically all bolt-ons with the drag pipe. I will be looking to go into the engine as soon as something gives.

I agree with MrMeaner a +4 is perfect. You just have to start eating more food so you have the weight to lean over the front end when she pulls up on ya.

Mario:

Earliest next trip for me is X-mas to New Years. But, that may not work out. . . in that case, I won't have sand in my pants until MLK Weekend at Glamis.

I know Jeff is going to Gordon's between X-mas and New Years. Did that trip with him and a few others last year and had a great time.

The Family keeps planning trips for Thanksgiving Week. I'ld rather make Dumont for Thanksgiving an annual trip but, this work thing keeps getting in the way of all the fun I want to have.

Yeh, I can stay in front of the stock bikes but, those new stock bikes keep getting faster and faster. It really isn't fhe 4-strokes that are fun to beat. It's the Shee's! Unfortunately, I know one of the Shee's in our camp is going to be running a lot faster next trip. The other is alway's right there. . . especially when it is still cool. I was thinking the Buff's may get me the extra couple lengths to keep ahead of at least on of the Shee's
