need help changing the rear end bearings
I read somewhere in here that the rear bearing, having no way to lube them, have a shortened life span if running in the water and mud. (which I do!)
From what I read I would be better off just changing them now rather than waiting 'till they're fried. Thing is, Ive never done this and I don't want to mess things up. I'm REAL good at taking things apart. Putting them back together??
I need to know what the lube is for those bearings. What to use on the axle and in the housing, too.
I ordered the bearings and seals for both sides. This time I got on the computer with the dealer and I think I got everthing I need.
I can't remember if any of you drilled and tapped some grease zerts?
