Rear brake rotor. How do you get it off?
Okay guys, I need some help.
I bought an AC Racing swing arm skid plate and I am trying to put it on.
Here is the problem. To get the bolts out of the factory “skid plate” (plastic, what a joke) I need to take the rear sprocket and the rear rotor off (the bolts go all the way through and come out from behind the rotor). The sprocket is no problem, take the bolts out and it comes off. The rear rotor on the other hand, it won’t. The bolts that hold it to the hub go through on the inside. They hit the swing arm and won’t come out all the way. So how do you get the rotor off?
Carl.

Iwent through the same problem. What a crappy setup. I took a dremel and cut the stock bolt in half to get it out using a cutoff wheel. It just seemed like alot of trouble to take everything off to install a skid plate. Once you get the bolt out its not toooooo bad to put another in. I think I put it in from the other side and used a much shorter one. Its been a long time but it can be done. I hate that setup.
