Spyware isn't a problem if you use a superior web browser, like Mozilla Firefox instead of IE. IE sucks, and always has. I've -always- used something else, and now, there is Firefox which is being run by millions of people already. It doesn't have the security flaws that IE always has had, and probably always will, you should give it a try. If you already have spyware, Mozilla wont get rid of it but you wont get any new spyware through browsing. I work on PCs all day long, and over the last couple of months spyware has just been the next big thing to hit the industry - be smart, get as far away from IE as you can. (Only use IE on web sites that absolutly will not work with FF, which is like 1 - 2% of them.)

I agree with Blackhawk. I've been running Firefox for about 2-3 weeks now. I have had no problems. The only thing I dont like isthat they are aligned pretty well with Google - I like yahoo services better . But, thats pretty minor to the average user.

 

If you click the G in the built in search bar, you can change the intergrated search to one of over 100 different searchs - Yahoo, Dictionary,com, Amazon, Ebay, the list goes on and on.. Now you can have your Cake & Yahoo too!

Today I ran Firefox exclusively today, all day. I scanned my PC for Spyware this morning and cleared them all off. Then I ran it again after running Firefox all day. I didnt have any Spyware on my PC by using Firefox. I usually get 10-20 Spyware/tracking programs per day with IE.

After that test, I'm now making Firefox my default browser - IM SOLD!
