Guys,
I'm interested in exporting a newish Rubicon to the UK esp with the way the dollar is going against the pound at the moment but I am reluctant to buy anything on E bay for all the reasons listed and the odd person I have contacted seems reluctant to deal with me for the same reason. Can anyone recommend a reputable dealer in the general area of New York or East coast (which would be handier for shipping) that I might be able to deal with?

Whoa, steady guys, I have posted here once or twice in the past. To give you some idea of the costs, the cheapest you could buy a new Rubicon in the UK is 10,000 dollars (5500 pounds) and thats a lot less than main dealer price ,shipping is about 850 dollars plus 10% tax when it gets here. Not quite so crazy?

So anyway, there is a really nice yellow Rubicon on Ebay ending today but I am a bit wary even though it looks good but I would be happier if someone could be kind enough to point me in the direction of a reputable dealer. Abernathys site says they wont ship under ant circumstances so I'm open to other suggestions.
