it's a 4-stroke rotax, it's like new inside!

i went 2+ years on the same set of piston rings running dry alcohol and with the turbo.

i wouldn't mess with valve face surfacing either.

the more times the head comes on/off the more likely the head will need to be resurfced for warpage. the more times the head comes on/off the morer likely you'll stress or damage the 8mm threads in the cylinder (a weak area).

valve seals would be recommended if removing valves. the 10mm studs and nuts would need replacing if remove head.

it's not a yamaha 2-stroke.

hey major see the whole thing is i had back surgery last week and now they got me on oxycodone and valume i'm all doped up thinking about my ride lol sick and tired of sitting here doing nothing, i have a bunch of experiance with 2 strokes but none with 4 strokes, last time after i set my valves and did a compression test the first time it read 215 lbs then i waited a minute then cranked and it read 210 then waited then 200, why would it go down each time i cranked it? could it possible be worn rings? or bad valve seats?
