Where is the best place to buy this tach

 

Ebay they come up every now and then, or try and match one from an auto store.

 

I would get a factory one from the dealer. I think it comes with all the wiring if you buy the kit.

 

Get the kit from the dealer. It includes all neccessary wiring, nuts, bolts, etc. It also come with a 20+ page instruction manual with pictures. Cost from the dealer was 135.00 IF you need the part # PM me I just installed the kit on my 03 Viper DS.

 

how often do you use the tach? never, i would rather put oil and coolant gauges in the tachs place

 

i look at my tach all the time. rwr sells them also.

BTW, my dealer wanted like $200 for the tach & the one Bomb acc. book was about $157. What dealer sells it for $135?

 

The sad thing is that I liked the old tachmeters that they came out with when the Baja first came out. Steel housing and a glass lens. The new ones seem a lot cheaper to me. I'm glad I have a spare of the old style.

 

I been riding quads for years in Glamis, I dont think its big deal to have one or not, BUT I DO LIKE THE IDEAL OF WATER AND OIL Gauges!! NOw if they can make a fuel tank gauge too?
