oh, sounds like you've got most of it already gone, what was damaged one it, but i was thinkin about saving some money and buy a sled with some light damage, and just tear it all down and rebuild it, like i did with my ds(i've got less than 3000CA in mine)
we haven't gotten into it seriously, my br wanted to get both of our sleds ready to go first and then worry about the trailer after, so i'm guessing we'll start in january, i'll post picts of designs n during the building,

i hit a manhole cover or tree stump under the snow ripped out the bottom half of the motor bulkhead and of course i didnt have any insurance like wayne stupid me, i have a bunch of ck3 parts i am putting on ebay for really cheap my name on there is chestnut379 so keep an eye out, i seen a guy at the store today that had a trailer that was a single axle 6 feet wide by 12 feet long and he said he could fit 3 wheelers on it comfortably, it looked small too, i really onlly need a two place atv trailer i like the side load cause it keeps the width down

I would exploit the 8'5" width and add 2-4 feet to the length. Then you can haul an easy 4 bikes by driving straight on, as long as they aren't all Bombs. Thats assuming you have 8'5" of deck width, and its not just the outside width of the tires.

J, why don't you just try to sell your trailer( like the other guys have told you its worth more the way it is.). then see if you can find a deal on an aluminum car hauler or landscape trailer. You can then get more use out of the trailer.
Just my 2 cents worth, I am in the process of building a light weight aluminum quad hauler now. We will see how it turns out, cross your fingers.
