Well the cover is off and I cant believe no fluids came out other than a tiny bit of anti freeze. Thanks for the( Tilting on side tip).

Now I took the Barnett springs out of the package and they seem to be the same in length and stiffness. They might even be more giving than the stock springs.

I replaced the springs in my street bike( Honda VTX C model 1800 cc) with Barnett springs and they were a little longer.

I don't want to replace the springs and have the same results as having the stock ones as it is a waste of time. What kind of springs do you guys suggest and where can I buy them?

The only thing that sucks now is I will have to wait to put the bike back together. Thanks, D

mrneg9, it kinda depends on how big a guy u are...if u are 300 plus i would order some stiffer springs form rwr or tvi..i tried the barnett springs and they began to slip after three rides...but that can also be contributed to the oil i was running... even after slipping the clutch badly with the new barnett clutch..i still have that clutch in and it hasnt slipped once since i put in the spings i got from TVI...

I'm 6'7" 305 lbs. The Barnett springs are the exact same length and stiffness as stock. I have never heard of rwr or tvi. Do you have an address ? Thanks, D

been through this one!!! Barnetts are only 13% stiffer per Tech's at Barnett. kit#mt14-6 I think from alba.
Go with the 60%woods from dunes. best $$. the pull not very noticible compared to the performance gain.. seems like most here agree. woods or pami.

Im 6 ft 3 about 335 just installed the barnett clutch and springs. I have about 10 hours on them and no slippage in river riding without paddels. What im worried about is when i get to the dunes with the paddels on. The only problem so far is getting it into neutral. Im not sure but doesnt rw make a 40% spring? You might want to check into that.
