Lowering a DS. Can it be done?
#1
Does anyone have any bright ideas on how the DS can be lowered. I ice race in the winter, and last year I kept shredding chain rollers because the chain has to constantly run on it. I am going to try a moose roller with bearings, but I don't think it will hold up to the punishment of constant running. Any ideas other than cutting the frame would be helpful.

Update on what I need. The stock suspesion works for lowering, but I need to figure out the rear end. The chain goes up so high when I drop the rear shock that it constantly needs to run on the chain roller. Above the chain roller is the frame? Kinda sucks and i can't wait to see if anyone is flat tracking them yet.

I have seen these bikes flat tracked clear back in June. The guys I saw had there susp. lowered all the way on the setting and one of them who was doing very well had his ratchet straped down front and back and has hooked up and flyin. If you want more info on how he had it strapped I will post it for ya. I myself am seriously thinking about flat trackin and I believe that is how I will approach it.
