If you want to see the event, they had some guy with a professional looking camera video taping the event, there were also lots and lots of video cameras rolling. Wait and see if wshrdskn has something good, his son also raced and made it to at least the semi-finals.

The event was well run compared to years past. The event was not shut down at anytime. 1 officer asked if fees were charged to participate, he was told no and he basicaly said have a nice day. The track was groomed as smooth as a babys hiney and there was a starting light. There was some confusion for me keeping track of what class was what, but my constant asking the event leader of what class it running now kept me fairly up to speed. I'll get somthing up as soon as I can.

The DS's contingency is definetly running much better!!! Scooby did real well, but like someone said, he had problems on Sunday. I talked to Scooby on Sunday, before his probelms and he said he burnt a couple of plugs up on Friday, so that probabnly has something to do with it.
Anyway, the amount of mis-information in this thread is crazy!!!
The cops did not break up the party as the organizers did not charge to run, all money is out of the organizers pocket. He is probably in for close to $20,000 for all 4 FSW's. One thing is for sure, hif it werent for FSW, none of these builders would be making the power they are now..

Dave, your correct. Everyone cant be consistant 100% of the time and people had probs. I dont think I could have beat the turbo KMS kenz nitrous bike anyways. But I know I could have done better against The red 800 w/ lighter pilot and me running nos. I just wish I could have has a little more time to be able to think straight. I went over to the right hand side right after and fixed the prob, too bad it was too late.

Hi I'm new to these forums and first time to the FSW. I had the pesky Baja X in the bolt on class. Randall and Eric the good ole boys from Kentucky put on the new Lectron 46hv carb, the ported intake and the new Moose thumb throttle on Friday and WOW what a difference it made. Made that quad come alive. Sunday morning Randall is trying to get me to run it in the bolt on class, I told him if they had an over 40 class and I might think about it plus I was having an issue with the front shocks in the whoops. Randall said take the shocks off of his DS and said he would run the the race on my quad. In the prelims he beat everyone hands down in the first race, and in the semi's he won 2 and they made him run a few more times, not sure what that was all about. Seem to be a few more bike in the semi's than there was in the prelims. All said and done he placed 3rd. I'm still very impressed and happy with my new 05BackBombOfied. Just want to thank them good ole boys from Kentucky for a great job well done. Have a safe trip home. P.S. I'm really thinking about the 720 kit this summer.

RK,
I think team Sparks should donate a few thousand to the person who shelled out the 20k, since the past several FSWs have all helped their business moreso than any other builder I saw at the event. Or at least the should buy up lots and lots of copies of the video to help recoup the costs for the guy who put it on.
