By the way, tell that idiot Tozer that when I called the BLM to inquire about a permit that was 2 years ago or so back when the event was part of these forums.

What he does after we booted him out of here, we don't care about. What I care about is our forum members and that they are being treated with honesty. Period.

At the time, he posted here that he had a permit. He had a history of lieing. I called and asked if a permit had been issued for any ATV events any time "over the next several months" I gave them no specifics. They said no permits for anything had been issued. So I did not alert the BLM to anything. My goal wasn't to disturb the event, it was merely to make sure the members weren't being fed a pack of lies.

The poor fool apparently needs remedial reading lessons. I specifically said that he posted the lies HERE which could only have been 2 years ago. I'm not sure if Tozer is dumb or just plain stupid but tell him to get his facts straight!

LOL I agree. There are no words to describe tozer. I can only figure he carries around a big sack in which to haul his ego.

I do suggest he withdraw his accusations, however. One can print whatever they like as long as its true and they have proof to back it up. But printing false accusations could end up with him getting up close and personal with the lawyers. The lawyers don't accept "stupid" as a reason to break the laws.

that is easy to say now, but at the time the blm percieved the calls as a red flag and a future hassle from the anti's. the senior blm guy told me this to my face when I got my film permit two years ago. At the 11th hour the blm decided it would be easier for the blm to defend not giving a permit rather than giving one. He said "we can't prevent the public from riding though". and that is what transpired.....the public getting together to ride public land that our tax dollars pay for. And it was a fun time with no problems at all.....but here on this fourm the permit issue became the tool and angle to bash Tozer. Unfortunately the event got caught in the cross fire. Bash on the individual, not the event. the event is truly a good time and promotes the sport greatly.

as a permit could not be obtained for 3 or 4 they were promoted as non permitted, non orgaized, non funded, non bla bla bla. Just like Aledo [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]...which I would like to go to by the way.

also.....There was a pinko blm guy who was there who could have leaked the permit info to the anti's so they could call and complain. I dunno. At this point there will probably never be a permit given to anyone to race that hill so it should just stay "an unorgaized event".
