Hey 05BlackBombOfied, Nice to see you finally pick out a name and signed up for the board. Your stocker was pretty fast on Sunday, I was impressed. Says lots about the Lectron, ported intake and endcap. Hard1's 800 was pretty amazing too. It was nice meeting you guys this weekend and hopefully we can do some duning in the near future.

The event was AWESOME.
King did a GREAT job.
Complainers are either jealous or mis informed.
Mr. HP and Randall are come of the coolest guys I have ever met. I was SO glad to see them do well. Those 8 Hundos are the real deal for sure. But Mr Hp stock bore was one of a few bikes that actually pulled on the competition consistently. Very impressive.
I saw the BLM come up to Mark, they both were smiling and shook hands as the federalies left and the event kept going. If it was what some have said (non approved, for profit, ect they would have pulled the plug right there).
Way to go DS guys!
Mario, I saw a few runs where your bike showed what it had in store, it was SCARY fast. Way to go, I can't wait to see it again.

Hey, Hey let not forget the starting line coordiator. J/K
Mr. HP is by far one of the nicest guys ive met, aside from tom and rob. I tell you what is was nice to see Eric pilot his own bike to the win. Is sad he diealed in for the whoops, I told him that King was going to have the hill shaved, well sh*t i told everyone, but no one seemed to beilive me...Oh well.
Mr.HP stock bore pulled so hard, it made me smile to watch. I was truly amazed, awsome research on that stock bore. As far as the 800's wow, very nice bike, its too bad they didnt take the wins.
Annihaltor, you bike was running pretty good, even with the blown head gasket, and the leaky Nitrous. You were on the bottle from the start on open class werent you?
Rapfam sorry about your dad, i hope he has a speedy recovery, its horrible you drove so far and al these terrible things happened to you. I know how bad your dad wanted to race also. Seriously it must have not been our camps weekend or something.
Didnt that 780 miami race that kenz kms bike after the race and win?
I can honestly say im just happy too see sparks not dominating it anymore, so many outside people. Its nice to see.
I tell you what that 780 is going to be a tough bike to compete against next year even. Funy thing is that its also has nitrous, but he chose not to run it, and he bike was still hella fast. I wonder how it would to on the bottle?
Anyways, i took some video, rapfam has it, and he says he has to rent a camera to uplaod the videos.
It was nice meeting everyone their, i hope to see you all next year.
KGB, what every happened to those girls that drank that jeagermeister bottle, how were they feeling the next morning.

What up man? Good job on the line. To answer your question, In the open runs, I did NOT run nos from the start, I did not get to juice at all in the open class, I had some bad luck with the fuel pump, It wasnt pumping gas and would not purge. I only had 1 minute to fix it so I said the heck with it and ran on all motor for the hell of it. It was quit a difference when I hit the juice. And I only hit that about half way up the hill. I think Dave has a few vids of me racing BIgbajas ds 800 with pilot when the races were over, I came on real strong on the top end with the bottle working.

AZSAND,
You're missing the point about my following up with the BLM. The promoters posted what was nearly a press release here claiming they had a permit. They didn't.
So what we're really talking about is an event based upon lies.
Now you may think that is acceptable, but when people are interrupting their lives and spending good money and their time to travel somewhere, I happen to think they should be told the truth. ALWAYS. Then let them make up their minds based upong FACTS if they want to attend or not.
Just a heads up for everyone...this thread and related threads will be tossed in a week or two after you guys have had a chance to talk some about the event.

IMO - there are plenty of My Bike is Faster than Your Bike threads that should be tossed. I don't see anything wrong with these. I understand there is bad blood and you don't want to in any way promote their event but, this is a forum and like it or not, we will all end up talking about it.
Mark's event will either continue to grow and gain more sponsorship or die after he tires of spending his own $$ on the event. You know he is getting into a Rail now??? If he is like some of the other Quad guys that get rails, his interest in this event may fade in the next couple years if there isn't fresh blood helping organize and sponsors kick in.

AZ,
I understand. But again, who pays for what isn't the issue.
The issue is people being lied to. There is absolutely no excuse for that. None whatsoever.
If the promoters say they are going to donate to a charity then a donation should be made. Even if it's very small. Even if it's out of their own pockets. Put a donation box up somewhere and ask people to contribute. Whatever! But follow through with your word.
If people are told they have a permit for the race, they dang well best have a permit.
What we are talking about here is ETHICS.
We will not be part of something where the trust of our members is routinely violated.
I have received personal messages from members who went to the event and I was told of favoritism and cheating going on as well. And apparently there are many people unhappy over how the event was managed. The majority of the people posting positive comments here are people that are friends of the organizer or heavily involved in their web site.
I'm hearing feedback from average people who just went there to race. Thus I tend to believe them when they tell me of their experiences.
Sorry guys...there are always going to be disagreements and many may disagree with us. But when it comes right down to it, I think most people want event organizers to be truthful and professional with them. I think participants should be given the courtousy of letting them make up their own minds based upon the facts.
