Default oil tank

some one needs to start building aluminum oil tanks ....the stocker is really heavy!

And build it with a nice concave spot to wrap around a 2lb nitrous bottle.

ever remove the oil tank? it weighs next to nothing, maybe with the oil it might seem heavy but empty can't be much more than a couple pounds. don't see any advantage to alum.


now lets talk about an alum frame!!! that would save some weight. but when you weigh 230+ maybe not such a big deal[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

I agree, the tank weighs pennies, although there is about 5 pounds of oil in it. and if you have a bad wreck it can take a dent alot better than aluminum without cracking.

I want an oil tank with an easy change spout. To make oil changes better!!!!!!!!

put an easy spout on it, I installed a stainless steel ball valve in place of the plug, and keep the handle to it in my tool box. it has teflon seals to be heat resistant. when its time to change the oil I grab the handle, slip it on, and open the valve. the valve cost $7.00, plus .69 cents for the brass nipple to connect.
