Default barnett clutch question

The last time i had my clutch changed i had my local dealer do it..he was "SUPOSED" to install the 9 disk barnett clutch, but when i tore it apart today i only counted 8.... i ordered a 9 disk clutch to replace it and when i put the 9 disks in it just didnt look right, it looked like the basket wasnt big enuff to hold all the plates...i was just wanting to make sure and to see if can run a 9 disk set-up with the stock baskett..thanks Rocky

Barnet 9 disk fit fine it the stock basket. Thats what I run along with the 60% springs and the magura hydralic clutch. Very sweet setup indeed. I can pull the clutch in with 1 finger

The kit that I got had the one diff plate to use in the offset position so I went ahead and used it that way. I know scooby told me once that he doesn't offset his. It really doesn't matter as long as you don't run them past the wear limit. Thats really all the offset is for. So that you can't run them past a certain point.

We just finished installing the barnet 9 disk clutch on my brother DS today. It fit fine in the stock basket, no problems yet. should be starting it up in the next 15 mins.
