MTX, thats hilarious because i was too.Cussing that is.That was easily the worst that rode has ever been.Ive been going there since i was 13.I gave them my $20 dollars thru clinched teeth.I was hot by the time i got thru the river and down that crappy road.I shouldnt complain though. My friends girlfriend sat at the highway with everybody for 4hrs waiting for the road to reopen because the water was so high. Now that sucks.Waiting 4hrs to drive down that $hitty road.

We came in Wednesday night around 5 pm. They were watering down the road and had graded it smooth. We rolled in nice and easy. I think they were trying but heavy traffic on a wet road got the best of them. Besides, if they leave it a little rough to get in, some of the concrete cowboys will stay away and the sand will be smoother for me.

Yo Black, I will be going for the weekend.
As far as that road is concerned, it will never be paved again.
If you look to the sides you can still see some of the old asphalt.
From what I understand, it was removed because the road was like a drag strip for motorhomes.
My wife and I and Tony, were talking to a couple of rangers that came by our camp and mentioned that the bridge was one of the things that they had plans for.
I think cleanup weekend maybe a good time to ask some questions.
Al
Mario, I'll be giving you a call.
