70 - 74MPH i think

 

This is a good time to ask this question then... I know how to get good bottom end on a quad, but for top end, what would be the best part(s) for the ds. I guess you could change the gearin. Thats a start.

 

the top speed of a 2004 DS650 that is stock and belongs to my friend was 75 mph as verified by my radar gun. This was bouncing off of the rev limiter so it was all she would do stock. I'm sure it would handle much taller gearing because its got all kinds of power. I wouldn't be a bit surprized if you could get it between 85 and 90 mph with just a gearing change.

 

I'm still working on a jetting issue with my stage 1 kit on a 2000DS, 72mph today on gps, no rev limiter, stock tires and gears.

 

my DS650Baja x stock everything except endcap modified with 22 inch tires on back with 15 tooth front spocket and im 84mph at the rev limiter

 

I just got my 05 viper red about A month ago been riding
on the lake alot I met my buddy with A rev 600 and asked
him to run along side me and see how fast Im doing he
said 65 to 66 mph and thats with no studs with packed
snow mixed soft.I know ounce the engine is broken in
and on regular dry ground its gonna fly.I love it its the best
guad I ever rhode or owned anyone wanna buy A SCRAMBLER

does any 1 know what gearing to use to get the fastest top speed out of the bombardier

 

go to a 17 tooth sprocket on the front you should be in the 80+mph

 

17/38 with 22 inch tall rear tires about 90+
