Default HOW MUCH DRAG ABUSE CAN THE ROTAX TAKE?

i just dragged my quad last week and made about 15-16 runs going ***** out everytime. i mean i had the throttle pegged and was hitting my rev limiter. i have a hi-comp piston but other than that no major upgrades. just a filter, end cap and jetted. how much abuse will the motor take before it starts to lose power and need a rebuild? i dont want to run the bike to death because after all i dont drag much and even though it is very addicting i ride trails the most. let me know about your experiences, blown motors, gaskets, rings, pistons, timing chains, etc. anything i should keep in mind before i do some mods and start lining up again. thanks

mine is high comp, big cams, heavy dual valve springs, no rev limiter, she revs to the moon in repeated drags on dune trips and I can't seem to wear her out. bike is over 4 years old, the motor build is going on 3, many hundreds of hours, never a wrenched turned on anything since I put the build together and she's strong as ever.

I do take a pause after just a few runs though, to let the oil cool down a bit, then get back at it. after several runs as the oil heats up so does the clutch and everything else and power will fade a bit, better performance when not pushing it with too many runs in a row.

Depending on weight, mods, maintenance, traction...you can figure on replacing the clutch at least once a year if you drag alot.

Budman believe it or not I am worn out pretty bad after every ride, getting old I guess I'm 32, but I just take a bunch of ibuprofin that night and get back in the saddle the next day to start all over again.

I'm gonna will my DS to my first born when I die, who is on the way now actually, because I think its gonna oulast me!

Bomsaint the Ron Wood Racing CDI has no limiter, that's what I have
