i took the steels out and resanded them my stock fibers were ok put them all back in order even the off set fiber put in woods 60% springs and have the shift arm at 72mm and the hand lever with about 1.5mm of play when i put it into gear it pops into gear then changing gears it is hard to shift the foot lever when its not running you can put it in gear pull the elever and you cant roll it i have tryed adusting every whitch way and still the same i even took the cable off the little lever and turned it manualy while in first gear engine not running and still the same ??????????????????

 

did you change the type of oil you use when you changed the springs ,

Is the lever hitting any thing external that you can see, Did you mark the splines on the shaft so that the lever went back on in the same place ?

 

i marked the shifter and the spline its in the same spot not hitting anything--i put valvoline 10W40

 

did you ever figure out what the problem was bigbird650?
