I was looking at getting one of these from Rocky Mountain with the bar clamp and mount. I am not sure what bars to get with it. What do you guys recommend? What height, bend, etc. or just what brand? I do mostly trail riding, and a little drag racing. No sand, no dunes. Just mud and dirt. Thanks.

I just use a Garman Etrex GPS. It gives me MPH, Direction, travel time, distance traveled and points me where I want to go. I bought mine on sale for $70(local Camping store) and mounted it with an IMS billet bar mount for another $40. I got the mount at the Sand Sport Super show back in September for IMS. I also like being able to mark spots in the dunes, jumps, hills and other places of interest.

I agree with the use of a GPS instead of the Trail Tech. I use a Magellan eXplorist 100 GPS. A trail Tech doesn't tell you how to get back to a buddy who's 10 miles away in the dunes....or how to get back to camp at night.....I guess the trail Tech serves some purpose thou.... I was thinkin of gettin a GPS, maybe off of EBAY or something. I know i little bit about them, but i don't know what brands/models are good. I want a half decent 1, but know 2 expensive. Any recommandations? Do you need any parts for the DS for the GPS? (wiring, brackets?)
