is it me or are alot of people riding/racing without head protection... this is like asking to be crippled or something...
pointing no fingers you know who you are... i have seen it happen-- a friends brother got hit by another quad while dragging, wasnt his
fault guy drifted into him.. both crashed quad landed on his head..long story short, he has a permanent quad now..called a wheel chair for ever!
doc said if he had a helmet on he would be fine.. sorry for the bummed out story but seems to be wide spread on the forum pics..

started wearing helmets as a matter of staying warm here in the north. it's strang when we go duning how many people wear nothing protective at all riding, we must look a fool wearing moto-boots, chest protectors, helmets, gloves ect but i have fallen off befor and for sure it hurts less with this stuff than without.

i wear a helmet all the time at the dunes but not when test riding near the house.
my reason for the helmet I like to ride to my and if possible the bikes full potential, the on the edge feeling makes me feel alive, And fortunatly the the helmet keeps me alive when i find out where the very edge is
if i see guys riding without helmets which over here is not very often, i dont make it my business .because it isnt.
but i know they ride like old women or they would apreciate the value of a helmet

I always wear helmet and gear. I'm not one to preach to others though. The way I see it its up to the individual. If someone doesn't wear a helmet, thats their own stupidity. I've seen to many closed head injury's. I don't care to be one of these peeps. I have to go to work on Mondays, and I have a family that I'm not going to risk losing because I didn't have a helmet on. Just my opinion.
