lol i remember my first oil change.... I had actually be warned, but still thought the way i was doign it would work out...WRONG! got about 2 tablespoons in the pan, and about 2 quarts on the floor Id also reccomend getting an SS oil filter NOW, instead of later. I ended up getting mine after about 5 oil changes (with filters at 11 bucks each!) and the SS Filter only ran me about 80.

I wouldnt reccomend rocky mtn for oil filters..lol On two occasions i ordered like 5+ of them (specifying my 2003 year) and every time they would send me the little ones for the older models...

I remember my first oil change....mmmmmmmm the stain is still on the garage floor. Thanks brp for not diclosing the screen in the oil bag. Oh well. This is the ds innitiation. It is the big secret. I dont think we are supposed to tell rookie ds owners the tricks of the trade.lol.............Thats the learning curve isn't it?

lol i think its good to learn from mistakes, the oil changing is just one that is too mean to let people make on their own! (unless of course they are the kind of people who come on the boards first day, and make 40 new threads about how fast the ds is, and how high they jump...
