Lets do some math here.
650 to 800 is only 150 more cc's. Now if you squeeze, lets say a 25HP shot on your 650 you have..........well.......25 more HP. Now, for the 800 to make up this loss it would need to make 27 to 30 more HP to win in a race.
25HP out of 150cc's; sure it's do-able but VERY difficult to say the least.
Think of it this way, if you can get 25HP out of 150cc's then a 650cc quad should put out around 110HP!!!!
In short, an 800 won't have a prayer against a 650 on the bottle. Weight for weight, prep for prep it will get smoked.
