i've been to ds days the last 2 years, run lots of times for people to know. did mario run on nitrous in those races. motor for motor i'm sure a 800 can take a 720 but add a 25 hp shot and that's a lot to over come.

 

the busa ds's are the the quickest machines i've seen if you consider that a ds. the reason i didn't try a fsw is never heard great reports like a ds days get together.

 

Sandman-I am Dropping a new busa motor in my ds, I am trying to get it done before ds days. Bigdaddys331 is helping me with the install. Then we will go to the local dyna jet shop and get a custom mapping for the busa motor. 175 hp on tripple buffs with marvin shaws... Im lookin to throw a good rooost. Im sellin my motor, lectron 48, drag pipe and nos for a good price. Time to move on.

Also, Saturday I arrived at the hill, (It was my first time ever there) I didnt change a thing w/ my bike and I beat the 800s and Mr hp 650. They had more tuning time than me. I didnt change any gearing at all. (I should have) Woulda shoulda coulda, yada yada yada yada. I still had fun... But I was also blowing anti-freeze all over my leg, my motor was on its last leg. We found that my cam chain tensioner backed all the way out and the timing lines were off qiute a bit. It just seemed like it had lost a bunch of power by Sunday. I had more fun Saturday in the heads up racing, Before the lighter pilots were put on.

More setup time? That weekend is the first time I EVER went up a sand hill! I've never raced through woops or on a dune in my whole life. But I admit it was alot of fun.

I wasnt out there but I hear BigBaja's bike was hurting anyone that wanted to try on saturday night after he got his suspension dialed in for the woops (its all on video). Too bad they drug the woops down smooth on sunday morning. He didn't have time to change his launch setup for race day which definately reduced the amount of trophy's he took home. My bike wasnt making as much hp which helped me keep the fron end down alot easier.

Yes its a great turnout, Huge, Huge hill, double the size of glamis hill... People party it up and have fun.. Jffinrivercity still owns the hill with his pami 830 on alky and nos. I will go if the busa motor is in. Ill let ya know. If you come through Vegas we can go from here. I just hope the bike is done... Hows your rappy comming along. Was that you on the blue rappy in the videos that got a REAL good holeshot but missed 2nd or 3rd gear?


Eric, Werent you there a few days earlier?? I figured you would have geared your bike for the hill in that time.. Calm down there turbo, I know youve ran whoops before on a dirtbike.. Dont feel bad, They dont have whoops like that at Dumont either, No where near that size. No I was not out there Sat. Night. Them whoops shook everything loose on my bike.lol And Ive rode bigbajas 800 and it is very powerfull and the cylinder was nice and cool after a few back to back runs.
