What frequency are you changing your oil at and curious if you've sent it off to a lab for analysis.

looking at the specs for the tachs dsengineer it looks like the right tach would be 806-100-2012 cause it is for engines that fire 2 times per revolution like ours does at least that is what majorecho says and I trust him he knows his stuff, I wanna get a tach/hourmeter but wanna make sure i get ther right one, right now i have the hour meter and love it

 

i like that tiny tach, very cool. if someone gets it and it works good post your results so i can order one.

 

I agree the tiny tach is a trick looking little jobber. The "2C" model is the right one for us according to what I've heard. Anyhow, I have one on order now so I'll let you guys know how it pans out.

 

Got my Tiny Tach installed today. Mounted it right above the Bombardier raised lettering on the dash, it blends right in like it was made for it. Seems to work just fine a couple of times I fired up the bike today. I'm going to Dumont this weekend so it'll get a weekend's worth on duning on it.

Cost is a good price, would be nice to hear how it works, wish it had a back light.

JUst got an e mail from tiny tach, they have a back lighted modle too, 30 bucks more and requires a12v source.

 

Be at Dumont this weekend, should be a nice one as it's been windy as all get out and now it's calling for a pretty calm weekend [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] It's shaping up to be a perfect DS dune opportunity.

 

Rode with the tiny tach all weekend and it works as advertised. Pretty interesting how few rpms I was turning out in the dunes (and I was hauling ****).
