Default stock to a stage 2 or 3, well it's done anyhow

I just finished putting the old girl back together, she got a new 14:1 piston, web 109 cams, a ported head with 37mm intake valves, ported and port matched intake bored to 46mm at the throat, and still running the stock carb and pipe with end cap. I started her up and let her get warm twice, but have not ridden her yet. I can't wait to get on the gas, I am currious what kind of horse power numbers she'll be producing? anyone have an idea?

Low 50's. get a different carb for a noticeable improvement. The stock pipe with end cap isn't loseing more than 1.5-2 hp above 6500 rpm but you'll lose torque everywhere. JMO.

to see full potential you need the carb and pipe. but will still run good the way it is.

I personly have seen a full blown stage three with a stock carb and pipe with end cap all it put out was low 40's on the dyno. with the addition of ported intake and tm45, HP was up to 50. the motor needs to breathe. let it flow, it will run a lot better.

well the carb will be next, I wanted to do all the motor mods while it was apart. I don't know what carb to run tm45,46hv, or tm48. The mikuni's are more affordable, is the lectron worth the extra cash?
