i was out at the river where we ride and was going along in 4th gear 3/4 throttle and it just died would not even start back not even after 1/2 hr---it was like you just shut the gas off on it--my friend towed me back to the truck when we got it home it started right up but now when it warms up runs bad kinda like its not getting enough fuel???? runs good till it warms upall the jetting is the way its been for 6 monthsso no change there

 

Start with the basics. Is it getting plenty of fuel (filter, shut -off valve, needle and seat...), does it have good spark? Plugs, what do they look like?

 

Check the vent line on top of the tank to make sure its not pinched. Mine did the exact same thing.

 

Did you overheat the thing? Sure your temp light is working? I had a problem before with my thermostat switch going out and make my fan not run.

 

the plugs look good/fan works it was runing when the it died /so it must have been hot/so im thinking not getting enough fuel /i checked the vent line it looks ok but it is close to where my seathooks under the gas tank/ took the petcock out the reserve filter screen was almost completey covered in crap so maybe that was the deal

 

I ahve that problem right now do u think u know what it is and is there a site i can buy the part

 

Vent line is a good mone bet but, if your fuel line filter was plugged, that's probably the ticket.

well it turned out to be the little filter on the petcock got it all cleaned out ---shes back to normal!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]---thanks guys
