KMS is the only producer of EFI kits for the DS that I know of. The only other EFI DS that I have seen is Scooby, but that is a custom one off monster!

If you're looking at the EFI. Just pick up the phone and talk to Kelly. Good to get positive customer referalls but, now that you have them, call Kelly for the real low-down.

Kelly is not at all a hard sell kinda guy. He's a just the facts kind of guy. Give him a call and get the facts. Then make your decision.

Im just looking for user input right now, not to serious b/c thats a lot of money i haveta save for, just curious lol
Been emailing elliott from RWR and have been surprised at what hes told me so far, my tm45 came wit crappy jetting and wouldnt take throttle at all so been tryin to fix it, i asked him for default stuff and he sent me the specs for the 45, hes a huge help and always responds, i was surprised at what he said about the acc pump:

Normally we run without the accellerator pump, because while it's great for blipping the throttle in camp or in the pits, it tends to screw up jetting at race speed. There will be a hesitation off of idle it the throttle is opened quickly, but at anything over 2500-3000 rpm, it should almost go away completely. Rolling the throttle on rather than hammering it will also help at very low RPM.

I asked about my thorttle when i hammer it while sittin in neutral and it just blub blub's, i didnt know how sensitive the 45 was to jetting, big pain in the as but once i get 'er dialed in i think i'll feel a lot better

Hmm, that site basically shows a +3hp rating for the efi, but that is over the STOCK carb. Dont suppose anybody has a dyno laying around that compares efi to hv46 or tm45? (somebody that did the upgrade maybe)
Granted the curve on efi is a lot nicer and more fluid, but @ a 1500 dollar investment, kinda makes me afraid of the cost. If they could get the system down to around 1k (I know asking that is pretty bogus, especially with their new learning technology) I would definitely have to have one, but for now, Ill stick with my stock carb until I find somthing better.

Nice site!

New bookmark!

Looks like a tough to beat set-up now that you can run a dry shot of NOs!

Do you know if he will start offering exhausts with the O2 Bung already welded in? Would be nice to be able to get a Ron Wood pipe with the bung already welded on and then ceramic coated. But, that may not be realistic.

Didn't know KMS had a YFZ and 450R Turbo kit!

I had my stock headers sent to KMS, they welded in the O2 bung and sent it out to be coated, looks great.

Do you need the sensor attached to the exhaust?
