Porting and Jetting
well dunerider I called mrhp today and talked to Bo the mechanic and asked him the same question cause i have their race ported intake, their billet endcap and their 11.2:1 je piston with stock carb and stock cams and he said i should be close with a 170 main and me needle in the 4th groove, he said I could go to a 175 if I wanted and it wouldn't hurt anything so I am gonna go from my 170 to a 175 today, these jet sizes are in mikuni not dynojet of course oh yeah he asked me where I rode and I told him woods riding on trails, he said people that race like to jet them a little leaner that is why they say 170 with their endcap, I asked him if 175 was to big and he said if i went to a 190 then it would be really rich but a 175 wouldn't bother anything, he was a very nice guy very informative, really good people down there, if I am wrong someone please correct me

DuneRider,
Looking at your address I was wondering if you knew a decent place in Alberta to get your head ported or basicly to get any motor machining done? I have a good fella that does head porting but he is in Nova Scotia there is another place in Quebec that does exceptional cylinder sleave boring and installations. Just curious if there was a decent place here shipping charges can be a pain.
