Default lighter plug?

The bike doesn't come with a lighter (12 volt) plug, so whoever you bought yours from probably installed it. I added one to my bike to power my GPS. Mine is mounted on the plastic dash, however. I ran the red wire from the plug all the way back to the battery. It has an in-line fuse. The black wire is grounded to the frame (make sure you scrape the paint off the frame where it is grounded or it won't ground properly). I am sure there are ways of wiring it to the key switch, but this way is probably the simplest.
